It's Hot! Lets Make Lemonade

Inside of the card

Ok everyone, I have really gone all out with my color comfort zone.  I had to search high and low for some yellow card stock, and in two shades!  This is not a color I buy, but I am pleased with the outcome.  Enjoy the video and thank you for all your comments and suggestions.

Beaver Kleber Thank You Card

Hello everyone!  The card I would like to share with you today, is a thank you card.  A friend of mine is a woodworker, and makes beautiful things with exotic woods.  Well I was fortunate enough to get one of his lovely handcrafted bracelets.  So I decided on this image from Campin' Critters.  It is so funny because his last name is Kleber, and the beaver was just so perfect for this wood craftsmen.
I cut the trees from page 64 at 4".  The beaver is on page 27, and he was cut at 3-1/2".  My card base is 6" x 7-1/2.  The sentiment is computer generate, and you can find info in how to do this on my side bar under "How to".  Thanks to all who visit, and to those who take the time to leave me comments, and suggestions.

A Vase Of Beautiful Flowers-Art Nouveau Cricut Cartridge-video

Hello Blogger Buddies,  I am back to the Art Nouveau cartridge once again.  I love flowers, and this vase was just what I wanted to add these beautiful mulberry flowers.  I cut the vase at 3-1/2"  which if it is cut any smaller the pieces may be very tiny and difficult to put together.  I hope you enjoy the video, and as always I enjoy your comments and appreciate you visiting me.

Thinking Of You Red Cardinal-video

Hello Blogger Buddies,

Today’s card is done in a blue color scheme. I think I really like it. I  need to stay away from my favorite pink and green. I don’t know for how long I can do that though, I'll just have to keep trying.  LOL
I have used some Spellbinder dies, and a cardinal stamp, which I colored with my copics. I hope you enjoy the video and are able to use some of my ideas from this card on your next project.

A Color Challenge For Myself

Hello Blogger Buddies!!  I love to use three colors that are my favorite, and that is pink, white, and green.  So I decided to challenge myself and try to use a different color pallet.  I started of great using blues, cream, and, tan, but when it came to the flowers I fell off the wagon.  The flowers in my stash are mostly the colors I'm trying to avoid.  I think I did pretty well for the first card challenge.
I used the arch from the Bloom Lite Cricut Cartridge which was cut at 5-1/2".  The only layer I used was the leaf layer.  I wanted to add my own flowers instead of the one's that could be cut from the cartridge.  They were just to flat for me.  It's nice to add your own touch to your cuts, and make it more of your own creation.  Why not give yourself a color challenge and make something out of your comfort zone.  Thank you for visiting me today, and I appreciate all your comments.

Thankful For Our Freedom

Hello Blogger Buddies and happy July!!!  We are only a few days away from our country's celebration, so I got out my Stand and Salute Cricut Cartridge and got to work.  I so love this country and am so proud and honored to live here.  Here is my salute to America.
I used a 5-1/2"x 7-1/2" card base and used lots of layers in red, white, and blue.  The top layer I ran throught the cuttlebug using the Allegro folder.  I cut the star at 4" in white, and added it to the embossed layer.  The phrase was cut at 4", and that was adhered on top of the star.  I added a patriotic ribbon and the bell which was cut at 2".
Thank you sooooo much for stopping by to visit me today.  Have a happy 4th of July.
